Kate Sweeney RONAN

I am a female, age 54 this coming March 15th, I am married to a man for 33yrs no children but a beautiful cat called "Scout". I have been interested in my family geneology since I was in my teens and started my researching seriously now for about 10 years. I have gotten a lot done. I am of Irish decent, I believe all my relatives started out in Ireland. I also have done research on my husbands paternal side Ronan who all came from Newfoundland after leaving Ireland abt.1810. Oldest ancestors on both sides of our familys were born in Ireland abt 1760. I am looking for any information I can get at this point as to where in Ireland they all came from. The McSweeneys/Sweeneys alledgedly come from Kerry and the Ronans either Cork or Wexford. My ancestors all ended up in Boston, Mass(Charlestown) and all ended up in Malden & Medford Mass by the 1920s. The Ronans came to East Boston Mass and also ended up in Medford, Malden & Everett, Mass in the 20s.
