Susan and I were both at East Texas State University (Now Texas A&M Commerce) at the same time, spring 1964. She was actually a casual friend of my roommate, as they were both from Dallas. We never dated, but did enjoy cokes and visits after class some afternoons. I wasn't Greek, so I thought it pretty cool to pick up a hot chick in front of her Sorority house. Although we didn't stay in contact through the years, I know she was a flight attendant for American Airlines, and through a mutual friend, I was told she was gravely ill. This would be mid 90's. I asked if I might visit her as now that we were both in Dallas. She declined, I guess she didn't want to leave that last impression with me due to the severity of her illness. She was such a sweet person and I regret not staying in touch with her through the years, but that's what happens sometimes when life gets in the way.

Susan Elizabeth Dauterive of Dallas, Dallas County, TX was born on June 4, 1945 in Dallas, and died at age 49 years old on January 16, 1995 in Dallas.
Robert L Dauterive of Metairie, Jefferson County, LA was born on May 8, 1929, and died at age 79 years old on November 4, 2008.
