My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth.
So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her.

My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.

I met Bethany at a High School dance. (1965) I walked her home that night and we stayed together for 2yrs until i went into the service (1966-1972). I spent four years in the Air Force and we went our seperate ways until 1980 when i called her out of the blue. We met a few days later and have been together for 43yrs now and counting. I'm the luckiest man alive today because of her. How and why she puts up with me God only knows. I've tried to die on her two or three times but she wouldn't let me. I had a stroke, heart problems and in bad health but she was or is there for me.

Concepcion Donaleski of TX was born circa 1938. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Concepcion (Amaro) Donaleski.
My memory of our Christmases never leave me. My mom somehow someway always got us a nice tree, more food and presents than we could ever imagine. We always had a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. A turkey so big it lasted us a family of six kids and my Mom a week. Then Mom would make turkey soup that was gone in one day. Mom made the best apple pie you'd ever tasted. My wife Bethany now and has made apple pies as good as or better than my Mom and thats saying alot. I love her for it and she knows it....I hope! For a family so spread out across America we keep in touch weekly with one another. Just chatting and giving each other support when we need it. We are really really close. The Love of Family i'm so lucky.
