When I was as a child, I would look up at my mother, at her lush, black hair, her perfect teeth, her flawless complexion, and hope that someday I would be as beautiful as she because I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. On the day that she died, just a few days short of age 89, I looked down at her with her lush snow white hair, her perfect teeth, her flawless complexion with no wrinkles And I knew that I have been right. She was the most beautiful woman in the world.

Alma Thelma (Sparks) Ives of San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas was born on February 2, 1921 in Clark County, Kentucky United States, and died at age 88 years old on January 26, 2010 in San Antonio, Bexar County, TX. Alma Ives was buried at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery
