There was a nightclub of sorts that my parents enjoyed - The Turf Club - in or around Long Beach, or Bellflower, CA. This may be there, but I am not sure. This was taken before I was born (1952) and perhaps before they married. Virginia Gladys Stubbs Trickel and Lester Duane Worley.

Ella Erdine Thompson-Greenleaf
It was totally amazing to me to find this lady as the 2nd wife to my maternal great-grandfather, E.Y. Greenleaf (first wife was Nettie Royce). My family always wondered where the name "Erdine" came from, and this lady, Grandma Ella, settled that question. Ella and Eugene had a daughter, Erdine Young Greenleaf, about whom I can find no information.

Karen Marie Zimmerman, born January 4, 1952 somewhere in Minnestoa and died April 18, 2005 in Colorado from PPH as a result of taking the diet drug Phen-Fen. A lovely, sweet and caring woman, with husband Lou and 2 children Jenny and Jeff and 6 grandchildren, this wonderful best friend was called away far, far too soon, is thought of often with love, and missed so much!

The marker for my paternal grandmother, Etta Francis O'Dell Worley, a lovely, gentle, sweet and sassy lady who gave me strength and support as a child, and the unconditional love I needed. I miss her so, so much.

An elderly lady at the gate with a small child. No one knows this lady's maiden name! Married to both a McKauge and a McIndoo, her maiden name has been lost. She was born in 1802.

We call her Elizabeth ??? aka Elizabeth McKeage, married to William McIndoo but was married 1st to John McKeage; Elizabeth was born 10-12-1802, probably in Canada. Her surname is lost. Any ideas will be gladly accepted!

the back of this picture is an address of 220 3rd avenue, lake worth, florida. Suspect this is a family member due to her resemblance to my grandfather, but she is not a sibling judging by her name. It would be great to ID this lady.
May be related to Ray Stubbs (b: 1884, d: 1963). Can anyone suggest the approx. time period of the clothing she wears? That might help.

Dorothy & Jiimmie
My aunt Dorothy Stubbs and her husband Jimmie Tinnin before 1941, when Dorothy died of tuberculosis. They were in the midst of a divorce and no information on Jimmie is known.

Alma R. Greenleaf & Ray E. Stubbs
A sweet and poignant picture of my grandmother Alma and her beau/husband Reginald E. Stubbs, circa unknown. Location unknown. Alma died in 1928 of tuberculosis and little information about her is known. Alma and Ray had 5 children; the youngest was my mother.

Dad was one of a kind. Brusque, opinionated, thought he was always right, 6’4” and imposing. A Sheriffs Deputy for many years and always walked like a cop, a rancher near Redding for some years (his dream job), and an investigator for the DA’s office in Oregon for many years. Loved his family, his siblings, loved his mother deeply and despised his father. All in all, I came to know him best in the last 6 years of his life. All the bluster, teasing, etc. was a cover up for a man bested by life’s challenges and not being able to meet them.
