Frank Gregory?
I have this picture of a guy in the army from George Patton's 2nd armored division with a 17 on the patch on his shoulder from the Hell on Wheels unit. I am trying to fugure out the symbol on the truck and where it may have been taken. I don't know who he is.
Can you help me identify the man or anything else about the picture?

Harlan & Fortner, back
This is the back of the photo of 2 men in WW1 uniform. It says Harlow or Harlan An. Fortner. I am guessing one man is Harlan and one is named Fortner. Don't know who they are.
I have noticed that old writing from the early 1900's has the n's really being w's. I noticed this on my mom's birth record when my grandmother signed her name. The o's and a's are hard to tell the difference on too.

Harlan & John W. Fortner?
I have this picture from my mom's candy tin after she passed away. It has 2 men in uniform from WW1. On the back it says Harlow or Harlan An. Fortner. I am guessing one man is Harlan and one is named Fortner. Don't know who they are. The tall man kind of favors me some.

Charles (Charlie) Fortner & Buddies
My grandfather, Charles (Charlie) Fortner, taken when he was in WW1 with some of his army buddies. I am looking to maybe find out who these men with him are. Charles is the tall one in the top middle row.
Do you know any of these men?

Bernard (Bud) Fortner
We know the tall man is Bernard (Bud) Fortner, in his 20's, with a smaller man sitting down holding a baby. Probably around 1930 is a good guess. Anyone recognize the man ? My cousin thinks the man sitting is Bud's dad John Fortner born 1874 and the baby is her my cousin Marie Fortner Bud's daughter.

George Patton's Hell on Wheels unit
Found after my mom's passing in 1995. I don't know who he is. From the WW2 era, a man kneeling by a half-track truck armored vehicle with the name Charlotte e on the side. Has a patch from Patton's Hell on Wheels unit, top left shoulder. A tech 5 patch is below. Patton had about 4 unit. I can't read the number from the photo. He was probably a mechanic working on the vehicle, maybe from Tennessee. If anyone can tell me what year or more about him or who he is I would appreciate it.

Bonnie Lucille Fortner and a soldier named Homer
A photo of my mom Bonnie Lucille Fortner and a soldier named Homer. His last name is not known for sure. But from writing on the back his name may have been Homer Hollingsworth and was in Nashville,Tenn. in May 1943 when this picture was taken. Just the first 5 letters of his last name are known for sure. It was taken at 4th Avenue Studio Nashville,Tn. May 1943. One of his family may have been named Herman Hollingsworth and lived at 1709 Hayes St. in Nashville,Tenn. Trying to find out how he is related to my family or if he was a family friend.
He may be a friend of the family or relative. Need to find out more about the branch of service and who he is.

Bonnie Lucille Fortner & Benjamin Aunspaw
A photo of a soldier (Benjamin Aunspaw) and my mom Bonnie Lucille Fortner who passed on in 1995 here in Indiana. We came from Tennessee and I believe this picture may have been taken in Nashville,Tn. and has the date of 1946 on the back but no name for the soldier.
He may be a relative? Or a friend. It looks like it was taken at a studio or maybe a dance. There are more of my mom with this same scenery behind her. Need to find out who he is.
