John A Pucacco was born in Mimico,
Ontario, Canada to Immigrant parents from Italy. He had three sisters: Mary,
Louise and Ida. His father bought a cheap house right beside the railroad tracks and worked as an Electrician.
John loved the drums from a young age and played with branches on old tin cans& pots until he joined the Drum core band at Mimico High School.
Eventually he joined the Moxie Whitney Orchestra and changed his name to Johnny Lindon. He is well known in Canada for his contribution to Canadian Big Band music and his album,
called "Happy Dancing" (1964). He was
active in Toronto Jewish Community events & Weddings. He was a staple act at the Imperial Ballroom of the presti-
gious Royal York Hotel in Toronto for over ten years. Aclaimed Vocalist.
