Mr. Zellie L. Riley was a prominent African American leader and businessman in the Parramore area of Orlando, FL. In 1950 he founded the Orlando Negro Chamber of Commerce now known as the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida. An active member of his community, he was behind several projects to empower African Americans of Orlando, such as a community center in Washington Shores. Today his memory and significant contributions are commemorated by Z.L. Riley Park, located in the heart of Parramore.


Cora Seymore of Albany, Dougherty County, GA was born circa March 1, 1897 in Worth County, and died at age 90 years old on December 15, 1987.
