Rockville Bridge above Harrisburg, PA
This is a postcard of the Rockville Bridge, longest stone arch bridge in the world, Harrisburg, PA. My brother, Fred Mort, sent this to my parents on August 19, 1948 to tell them that he passed all tests for the Air Force, got delayed in Harrisburg, but was leaving for San Antonio, TX, at 12:20. This card is for all the family.

This is Father Hayden, a Catholic priest, standing on the steps of the Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Doylesburg, PA in 1935, according to the year at the side of the photo.
Fathers Burke and Murray
This is a picture of two Catholic priests--Father Murray on the left and Father Burke on the right. The location is unknown. The year on the side of the photo looks to be 1934, but maybe could be told better by the cars in the background.

Neilia tragically died in a car crash with her 1 year old daughter in 1972. A copy of the newspaper article detailing the accident when Joseph R. Biden Jr was senator elect, the youngest man to be elected to the U.S. Senate in that century, is below. Joseph's two sons were only injured. On Neilia's tombstone it reads:
Neilia Hunter Biden
July 28, 1942 - December 18, 1972
Death lies upon her like an early frost upon the sweetest flower of all the fields
Naomi Christina Biden
November 8, 1971 - December 18, 1972
As is the mother so is the daughter.
