About me:
I am looking for information about my paternal grandparents, Marcus Lafayette Wilmot (mother's maiden name was Peckenpaugh) and Grace Wishart Scott Wilmot. Her mother's maiden name was Harriet Abbe (she went by Abbe) Edmond. Samuel Scott (Grace's father) married Abbe in Amador County, California in 1866. I'd love to learn how Abbe got to California from Maine and with whom.
