Charles Edward Daniels was an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for his contributions to Southern rock, country, and bluegrass music. He was best known for his number-one country hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". Daniels was active as a singer and musician since the 1950s. He was inducted into the Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame in 2002, the Grand Ole Opry in 2008, the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2009, and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016.
Gola and Nellie Kirby
I found the photo of Gola and Nellie Kirby from Middletown, Indiana, in a Tallahassee, FL, antique store. The postcard type photo was sent to a Mr. and Mrs. Perry Wood. It was mixed in with other surnames; Wood, Kitterman, Nottingham, and Cunningham. I would like to return the photo to the family.

I entered the Women's Army Corps in Aug 5, 1973. I was part of the Seafare Platoon of Seattle Washington, inducted by B.General Mildred C. Bailey, Director of the Women's Army Corps.

The photo of Fern Wood Iliff was found in a Tallahassee, FL, antique store. I have three photos of Fern, one child, two adult. I have access to others at the same store. She is believed to be the daughter of Harry Wood. The childs picture was made by J.A. Miles Photographer, Fairmount, Indiana. Other photos with hers were Harry Wood and these surnames; Wood, Kitterman, Cunningham, Nottingham, Kirby and Mildred Scott, the wife of Herbert Scott. I wish to return the photo to the family.
