William Winford Gammons was born on April 17, 1905 to parents Lee Miller Gammons (1862-1928) and Bettie Gregory Gammons (1872-1951). He had siblings Gracie (1891-1975), Alma Mary (1894-1935), James Thomas (1898-1968), Eva D (1902-1990), and Ocio Albert Gammon (1909-1987).
On June 21, 1925 he married Sellie Irene Ford (1908-1951) in Macon, Tennessee, USA. They had sons together Winford Junior Gammons (1926-2008) and Lonnie Dean Gammons (1929-2012). They later separated.
William then married Delphine Helen Datres (1911-2013) on May 1, 1931 in Washington, Pennsylvania, USA. They had children together Ernest Henry Gammons (1933-2007), and George C Gammons (1945-1945).
I went to his home many times with my grandfather when I was young… He taught me how to whittle and one particular day he gave me his own personal pocket knife that he carried in his pocket… My father told me I better take care of that knife and try not to loose it because richard just wouldn’t give someone his personal pocket knife unless he really thought a lot of them… It’s been over 30 years since he gave me that pocket knife and I still have it!!!

Richard Wade Stubblefield was born on December 26, 1904 in Trousdale County, Tennessee to parents John Britton Stubblefield (1878-1974) and Mattie Agnes Wakefield (1883-1982). He had a sister, Ruby Francis Stubblefield (1908-2001).
He lived in Hartsville, Trousdale, Tennessee and on February 17, 1929 he married Martha Ellen Bea Carr (1908-1997) in Gallatin, Sumner, Tennessee, USA. They had a daughter together, Julia Elizabeth Stubblefield (1935-2020).
