Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada and moved to the US after completing Medical School at Queens University, then completed Medical Residency at the Mayo Clinic.
His career would include being a Doctor with NASA, becoming Director of Pulmonology at hospitals in Florida and Arizona, as well as teach medical students at Tucson General Hospital, and a long tenure in private practice.
He would go on to become Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. He had the opportunity to advise members of Congress on medical issues and attend various Presidential Dinners for President Bush.
He is survived by his son Matthew and grandchildren Krista and Nicolas.
