Georgiana Orwig was born circa 1913 at 4335 Jefferson St, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri United States, and died at age 5 years old circa 1918 at 4335 Jefferson St, in Kansas City.

Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember George Washington Orwig.

My Grandmother, originally named Bridget, was born to Bernard O'Connor and Margaret Cox, Roscommon Ireland (Aughrim West). She immigrated to America May 3, 1898. She then changed her first name to Agnes because she did not want to be called Bridget in America (all maids were called Bridget) Her passage was aided by her brother Patrick and sister Mary, who had already arrived in the U. S. She settled in Kansas City, Mo, where she met and married George Washington Orwig. They had two children, Georgiana and Mary Leah. Georgiana passed away, age 5 or 6 from influenza.
