2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
Tammy Lynn Homolka
Tammy was murdered by her older sister Karla Homolka and her fiance at the time, Paul Bernardo. Both Karla and Paul Bernardo are convicted rapists and serial killers. After Tammy's death, they raped and murdered two other teenage girls. On December 24, 1990, the Homolka family was having a Christmas celebration at their residence. Karla and Paul plied Tammy with alcohol and managed to add a sedative drug to the alcoholic beverages. When Tammy fell unconscious late that evening, after the other family members went to bed, Karla and Paul took turns raping her while videotaping the whole thing. At some point Tammy began to vomit and asphyxiated. Karla made a few failed attempts to revive Tammy. By the time the paramedics arrived at the Homolka residence, Tammy was dead. Tammy Lynn Homolka was the third child born to Karel and Dorothy Homolka. Her oldest sister was Karla Leanne Homolka, a Canadian serial killer and rapist. Her other older sister is Logan Valentini (she legally changed her name from Lori Homolka in the year 1996).
Della Frasier is the great grandmother of Jasmiyah Kaneesha Whitehead and Tasmiyah Janeesha Whitehead who as of 2014 are serving a 30 year prison sentence for having committed matricide. The crime occurred on January 13, 2010 and the murder victim was Della's granddaughter Jarmecca Whitehead also known as "Nikki". Della allowed Jarmecca to raise her daughters at her residence. When Jasmiyah and Tasmiyah were around 13 years old, Jarmecca moved out of Della's house and into a new residence with her new boyfriend. Jasmiyah and Tasmiyah went with their mother. In 2008 after Jasmiyah and Tasmiyah assaulted Jarmecca, the juvenile court judge gave Della custody of her great granddaughters. In January 2010, the juvenile court judge gave Jarmecca custody of her daughters and they moved out of Della's residence.
Karla Homolka (also known as Karla Leanne Teale and Leanne Bordelais) is a serial killer and rapist. She along with her former husband Paul Bernardo, raped and murdered three teenage girls in the 1990s. One of the victims was her younger sister Tammy Lynn Homolka. Karla only served a 12 year prison term. She was released from Ste-Anne-des Plaines prison on July 4, 2005. As of 2014 it was revealed during Luca Magnotta's trial that Karla is now living in Quebec, Canada. Karla is the mother of three children and married her lawyer's brother.
Logan Valentini
Logan Valentini is the middle child of Dorothy and Karel Homolka. Her older sister is serial killer and rapist Karla Leanne Homolka and her younger sister was the deceased Tammy Lynn Homolka. Logan legally changed her name from "Lori" to Logan in the year 1996 after Karla's heinous crimes were put in the public spotlight. The ID channel created a 4 part series about Logan/Lori's sister Karla and her husband titled "The Ken & Barbie Killers: The Lost Tapes" and released in 2021. Karla had been released from prison in 2005 and according to Wikipedia, as of January 2020, she lives in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield without her husband or children. There are reports that Logan/Lori and Karla remain close and are in contact frequently.
Karel Homolka
Karel Homolka was born to Vaclav Homolka (1906 - 1986) and Josefa Eisenhammer (1909 - 2004). Both of his parents were born in the Czech Republic. He had nine siblings, 6 brothers and three sisters, including Vaclav, Emilie, Jan "John", and Joe "Josef" Homolka. Karel Homolka married Dorothy and they had three daughters, Karla Leanne Homolka (also known as Karla Leanne Teale and Leanne Bordelais), Logan Valentini (formerly known as Lori Homolka), and the deceased Tammy Lynn Homolka. Karla, Karel's eldest daughter, was convicted of murdering and raping three teenage girls in the 1990s alongside her former husband, Paul Bernardo. She served a prison sentence of twelve years for these crimes. One of the victims was her sister, Tammy Lynn Homolka (1975 - 1990). Karla was released from prison on July 4, 2005. It's worth noting that Karel became a grandfather, since his daughter Karla had three children, a daughter and two sons, after she served her 12 year sentence.
Dorothy Homolka
Dorothy is married to Karel Homolka and together they had three daughters. They are Karla Leanne Homolka (also known as Karla Leanne Teale and Leanne Bordelais), Logan Valentini (formerly known as Lori Homolka) and the deceased Tammy Lynn Homolka. Dorothy is also a grandmother. Her oldest daughter, Karla, served a 12 year prison sentence for murdering and raping three teenage girls in the early 1990s with her former husband, Paul Bernardo. One of the victims was her sister Tammy, age 15. Karla was released from prison on July 4, 2005. In Karla's 1995 trial in Montreal Quebec, Dorothy testified to being horrified when she first saw the extreme abuse Karla suffered at the hands of her husband Paul. Karla's defense was that she was severely abused by Paul and therefore did what she was told. It seems that Dorothy, Karel, and their daughter Lori supported Karla right through her sentencing. But none of the family members greeted her when she was released from prison and at the time they said that they had no plans to see her later. In 2006, the film Karla was released. It was told from Karla Homolka's point of view. In the film, Tammy Homolka's death is featured in one of the scenes. Karla subsequently married (the brother of her attorney) and had 3 children. In May of 2009, Dorothy and husband Karel put the family home up for sale. It seems that Dorothy has made a concerted effort to walk a fine line. One of her daughters was convicted a served time for the death of another daughter. How heart-wrenching would that be? She supported her eldest daughter by testifying to her observation of the daughter having been physically abused during her marriage. Since then, she has remained quiet.
Lynda Whitehead is the mother of murder victim Jarmecca Whitehead also known as "Nikki". She is a grandmother. Two of her granddaughters who are identical twins, Jasmiyah Kaneesha Whitehead and Tasmiyah Janeesha Whitehead are serving 30 year prison sentences as of 2014 for having murdered Jarmecca on January 13, 2010. Lynda Whitehead deeply mourns the loss of her daughter Jarmecca.
Tasmiyah was an honor roll student and in the girl scouts as a child. At around 13 years old she stopped maintaining her school grades and became increasingly rebellious. In the year 2008, she and her identical twin sister Tasmiyah assaulted their mother, Jarmecca Whitehead. She and her sister were arrested. The juvenile court gave custody over to their great grandmother Della Frasier who they lived with for one year. After the year was up, the juvenile court gave Jarmecca custody of her daughters. Tasmiyah and Jasmiyah were upset. Jasmiyah threatened to kill Jarmecca. On January 13, 2010, Tasmiyah and Jasmiyah woke up late for school and got into an argument and physical brawl with their mother. Both twins beat and stabbed their mother to death. Tasmiyah is serving a 30 year prison sentence in Pulaski State Prison.

Jasmiyah is serving her prison sentence in Arrendale State Prison.
Jarmecca Whitehead also known as "Nikki" by all accounts was a devoted mother who tried her best to do the right thing for her daughters Jasmiyah and Tasmiyah who it seems rejected her. She tried to set rules and boundaries for her daughters who became rebellious teenagers as well as giving them tough love. However, they saw Jarmecca as being a hypocrite citing that she had done the same rebellious teenage acts when she herself was a teenager. Jarmecca is loved and missed by her other family members and friends.
