The DeVore / Miller - young couples
My grandmother Hettie DeVore-Flaugh had 2 brothers and 2 sisters that married 2 sisters and 2 brothers from the next farm down the road. Way back then you didn't jump in the car and go into town to look for the opposite sex.

I think I have them straight and these marraiges lasted. I have a picture of the couples taken in the early 1940's (also posted on Antient Faces). Dick Flaugh

Very old Hibbard Family Reunion
This is the oldest Hibbard Family Reunion picture I have. It had to be from the mid 1890's because my grandmother (Hettie DeVore-Flaugh) is in it but not my grandfather (Charlie Flaugh) He is in every other reunion picture I have.
I recognize old Cyrus DeVore with the beard, in the back row by the post. I think that's John Miller in front on the right.

Aaron Flaugh Family

George and Catherine Graff-Flaugh
George Flaugh and wife Catherine Graff. George is one of 8 children (4 boys and 4 girls) of Johann Matthias Flach, who imigrated from Germany in 1773. George fought in the war of 1812. He died of dropsy in 1880 at the age of 87. George and Catherine had seven children...Matthias (my lineage),Samuel, Susan, Abram, Benjamin, George and Hiram.

1927 Hibbard Family Reunion
Picture taken at the annual Hibbard Family reunion. As close as I can tell, this reunion has been taking place for over 100 years.
Leslie LeRoy Fuller Family
Family of Leslie Leroy Fuller taken in the 1890's. Leslie owned/operated a store in Beaver Center. His father was Andrew Fuller who served in the Civil War. His mother was Jane Partch. They came to Beaver Ctr from Vermont. Leslie's wife Cynthia Thompson is standing on the right. Standing on the left is Guy William, Seated on the left is Emma Estelle (my grand mother). Edgar Andrew (Ned) is on Leslie's lap.

Cyrus DeVore Family
The Cyrus DeVore family. Cyrus was born in Wellsville, NY on May 9th, 1834. Cyrus was a carpenter and a Civil war veteran. His obit says that "Many of the buildings in the Meadville area are monuments of his skill and designing."
Two of his sons and 2 of his daughters married 2 daughters and two sons of the Miller family.
