2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
Wilhelm Coll
Wilhelm Coll was the son of Margrethe Marie Lange and Olavur Coll. He had siblings Olav Marentius Coll Minneapolis, Nils Lange Coll, Hanna Marie Coll, Gunhilda Coll, Signe Margrethe Coll, Carl Gustav Coll, Gudmund Coll, Regine Coll, and Mathilde Coll.
As of the 1865 Norwegian Census, Nils Lange Coll was married. He was the son of Margrethe Marie Coll b. 9. nov. 1836 and Olavur Coll b.24. oct. 1836 in Holmestrand, Norway. Nils Lange Coll lived many years in Kristiania ( Oslo ), Norway. He became a widower. In 1910 he emigrated to the US with his 10 year old son named Erling Arnholt Wilhelm Coll. They lived for a number of years in Wolf Point, Montana where he had a homestead, probably a small farm. He was also an employee of a railwaycompany. He passed away at "Aase Haugen Home" for elderly in Decorah, Iowa in 1943. His grave can be found at Aase Haugen private Cemetary, Decorah. His brother Wilhelm Coll also lived in Wolf Point, but moved on to Oregon at a later stage.

As of the 1865 Norwegian Census, Nils Lange Coll was single / never-married.
