Emily Agnes Stanley was born in 1856. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Emily Agnes "Emma" Stanley.
Mary Slattery, with two t, married Charles Smith in April 1855. He died in Feb 1856. After which she had their child reg as Emma Stanley Smith.....afterwards known as Emily Agnes/Agness Kerwin as her mother then married Matthew Kerwin. Emily as we knew her, died on 9.7.1937 after having a large family with Martin Mulroney who she married. They married on 26.5.1881. and he was 43 and she was only 25. They lived around Boonah, Qld
Charles Stanley Smith of Melbourne Australia was born in 1833, and died at age 23 years old in 1856.
Emma Stanley Smith died at 9 months of age. Her mother had by then re-married as her husband died the same year, to Matthew Kerwin. At the same time Agnes nee Dow and Jasper Blackie had an Emily Agnes, and Jasper then died so Matthew and Mary nee Slattery nee Smith, took in young Emily as their own. She was then known as Kerwin. Went to Qld with them.
