Daniel or Thomas Callahan/Callihan
This picture is believed to be one of the sons of Cornelius Callahan and Father of Isaiah Wells Callahan/Callihan. It was obtained from a granddaughter of Agnes Grace (Callahan) Wilson. The photo was a part of an album "Owned" by Isaiah Wells Callahan, son of Daniel and Nephew of Thomas.
The picture was taken by Theo. Brown - Mt. Gilead, Ohio, which is the county seat for Morrow Co., Ohio. The Callahan's lived near Mt. Gilead.
The mystery is to find proof of the identnification of the person in this photo. Based on my analysis: Since the picture was kept in an album "Owned" by Isaiah Wells Callahan, son of Daniel & Grandson of Cornelius, I believe it to be that of Daniel Callahan.
Does anyone with a "Callahan/Callihan" Ancestry have more information to provide proof of the identification of this person?

I believe this to be a picture of my 3rd Great Grandfather, Cornelius Callahan (1779-1855). On the back of this photo it is indicated that the photo was taken by "Gray Photography" in Cardington, Morrow Co., Ohio
This photo was given to me by relatives of Isaiah Callahan's daughter, Grace Agnes (Callahan) Wilson. It was given to me by her Granddaughter, Connie Darlene Sharrer. This picture was a part of a picture album that at one time belonged to Isaiah Wells Callahan, son of Daniel Callahan and Grandson of Cornelius Callahan & Margaret (Helphrey) Callahan. Some spelled it Callihan.
Cornelius Callahan (Callihan) (1779-1855). Cornelius resided for many years in Knox, Marion & Morrow counties in Ohio. I am basing my "Identification" on this reflecting an "Older" picture and that it came from an album belonging to Isaiah Wells Callahan, Cornelius' Grandson.
Does anyone have any information that would help "Prove" this photo is of Cornelius?
Sincerely,
Ron Callahan
