Bridget R. Clark was born to Walter Gene Clark and Nannie Adelle Melton. She had siblings Kelly, Ceil, Mark, and Matt Clark.
Bridget Clark was married to serial killer David O. Brooks (1955 - 2020) on July 13, 1973 in Harris County, Texas, and they had one daughter, Rachel Lynn Brooks (1973 - 1992). Bridget and David divorced on March 8, 1977, in Harris County Texas.

Rachel Lynn Brooks was born to David O. Brooks (1955 - 2020) and Bridget (Clark) Brooks (1958 - 2012). Both of her parents were born in Texas. David and Bridget had married in 1973 and they divorced in 1977. Rachel's father, David O. Brooks, had been convicted as a serial killer in Texas. His crimes occurred during the years of 1970 through 1973.
A lifelong resident of Houston, Texas, Rachel attended Sharpstown High School in Houston Texas.
She died at the young age of 18 in Texas in 1992, predeceasing both of her parents. Her father died in prison in 2020 of Covid-19 and her mother died in Houston in 2012.


Born on February 12th, 1955 in Houston, Texas, David O. Brooks was born to Henry Alton Brooks and Mary Lorene Heatherington and had one sibling, Richard Brooks.
David Brooks was married to, and divorced from, Bridget (Clark) Brooks (1958 - 2012). They had one child, Rachel Lynn Brooks (1973 - 1992). David and Bridget had married on July 13th, 1973 in Harris County, Texas and had divorced on March 8th, 1977 in Harris County, Texas.
David Owen Brooks, an American serial killer, was involved in the abduction, rape, torture, and murder of at least 28 boys and young men between 1970 and 1973 in Houston, Texas, alongside his accomplices Dean Corll and Elmer Wayne Henley. (source: Wikipedia) It is said that Brooks and Henley had been friends of many of their victims.
Brooks was convicted in 1975 and sentenced to six life sentences. He was repeatedly denied parole.
David died at the age of 65 in a Galveston, Texas prison on May 28th, 2020 of COVID-19 while he was serving six life sentences for his part in the crimes. See David O. Brooks: Obituary. (WARNING: details of the crimes are included and are disturbing. )
He is buried in Captain Joe Byrd Cemetery in Huntsville, Walker County, Texas.
