I have very fond memories of groeing up in Brownsville, Ohio and moving later to Newark, Ohio. I have a sister named Melody Lynn and a brother named Donald Douglas. I also have a half sister named Allison and a half brother named Shawn. My best memories were of my Granmaw and granpaw Broceus. We later named them Granmaw and granpaw Pickle. (My granmaw made the best pickles around. She also made the best homemade noodles. It seemed like we spent at least every other weekend with them in the summer. She would be canning or baking or figuring out some kind of craft to make with us. The bug footstools were the best. Granpaw cut the piece of wood, take 1 large oatmeal container ,cut in half, fill wth newspaper and put the half to the wood for a backing.cover with vinal and use upolstery tacks to hold to wood. spools for 6 feet. big black buttons for etes and pipecleaners for the antenus. They may not have had much but they sure had the love and hearts of gold. My sister and one of her sons and a cousin now live on their property. So happy some of the land is still belonging to family.

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
