Margaret was my Grandfather, Robert MacMillan’s, cousin. When I was a little girl she and her husband, Leonard, came to visit us a couple of summers. She was a lovely, sweet lady. She crocheted beautiful doilies and table cloths.

Margaret Louise (MacMillan) Clifford was born on August 29th, 1914 in River John, Nova Scotia, Canada to Egbert Haldane MacMillan (1891 - 1961) and Estella Florance "Stella" Logan (1891 - 1960) and she had siblings John, Murdena, Muriel and Lester. Margaret was married twice: First to Clifford Alonzo Chapin (1913 - 1942), who she married in 1937, and then to Leonard Clifford (1917 - 2006), who she married in 1946. Leonard and Margaret had a daughter, Suzan Baird.
