2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Mary Ann Clark
Mary Ann Clark is the daughter of William Wood Clark and Eliza (Limb) Clark. Their surname is sometimes spelled Clarke. Mary Ann was born in Stonegravels, New Tupton, Derbyshire, England. She died 27 November 1886 but I am not sure where. I think that this photo was taken shortly before some of her family left England and sailed to America. This photo was in the personal collection of Mary Ann Clark's brother Joseph's daughter, Elizabeth May (Clark) Wilde. If you would like me to email it to you in its original size, please contact me. I also invite you to visit my Wilde and Clark website where I have posted many ancestor photos and stories at www.wildeandclarkancestors.com.
