Grandma Mary was the absolute Best Grandma ever and she was truly the meaning of a Grandma! The entire neighborhood kids all referred to her as Grandma Mary. She would sit on her front porch on her recliner and watch all of us kids play, come and go and she kept very close watch on all of us! I have so many memories of growing up next door to her and all the Saturday night sleep overs and daytime visits from watching all in the family to Lawrence Welk on her big console tv to going through her Jewelry boxes of gems and treasures to eating three musketeers and drinking bottles of 7 up. I couldn’t wait to check the corner plant stand every day for my treasure, there was always a plastic colorful flower ring in there and I loved them all. The memories of her have stayed strong in my mind and memories since the day she passed away sept 4 1981😭❤️🙏🏻
