Three Brothers
This picture was found in with my grandmother's old pictures after she died. (She was Kate Harger Crews). It is obviously of 3 young brothers, and is believed to be the sons of one of her friends. This could have been in North Carolina in (Stokes/Rockingham/Surry/Guilford Cos.) or possibly in Virginia (Richmond or Norfolk). Does anyone recognize these 3 boys from days gone by?

Price, Long, Hurley, & Caswell 1908
(L to R) Willie Long, James Hurley, Lloyd Long (age 12), Spurgeon Price (age 13), Clarence Price (age 14), and Charley Caswell after Sunday School in 1908.
These boys worked in a mill in Gastonia North Carolina. They worked there between 2 to 4 years each, which means they all started around age 10. So young to work - but they clean up well!

Sidney Jeavons was born on October 8, 1925 in Ohio United States, and died at age 65 years old on April 28, 1991. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Sidney Jeavons.

Tommy and I dated when we went to Streetsboro Highschool. I remember going to Moon Glo Roller Rink in Kent with him on Friday nights. I was shocked to learn that he had passed away so young. Would like to know more about that. I believe his ex-wife lives in Burton, and his kids may too. I also know that the "O" stood for Orenthal. I rememer because it was such an odd name.
