I am a semi-retired grandmother who loves local history. I am president of my hometown historical society in northern New York. I am researching the Taylor name from Barnstable, Mass., the Spencer name from North Adams, Mass., and McGibbon from Paisley, Scotland. My brick wall is the burial place of Marshall W. Taylor, who died at Kiawah Island, S.C.
