Vivian Ruth (Glenn) Zeaken of Nash Ave, in Niles, Ohio United States was born on September 29, 1932 in Warren, and died at age 80 years old on April 4, 2013 at Artesia Gardens Nursing Home 6041 Kingman Ave, in Buena Park, CA.
My mom was a warm loving mom. I loved her very much. After Dad died she was depressed and that went into dementia which went into Alzheimer’s 2003-2013.
I cared for her until I had to place her in a nursing home. I visited her all the time, I brought her flowers, after 1 yr she didn’t remember me at all any more. I paid half her rent, As she didn’t have any more than half the money I used up her money and my workers comp settlement, so I had to sell the house and move to Illinois for a place to live with a friend, I couldn’t buy a place to live as I didn’t know how long I would need to keep paying for her rent. So I came out 4 times a year to check on her. I flew out to be with her as she was dying 24 hrs I spent nursing her with the hospice worker administrating Morphine, she ran a high fever as he brain was shutting down we both washed her to bring down fever and kept her comfortable as she slowly went into a coma and died over 24 hrs I helped in every way completely even putting her into the body bag. I unzipped it to kiss her and say “I Love You”. I went to crematory and took care of everything.
Went to handle putting her with my Dad at the Veterans Cemetery. Love you mom!

George Zeaken of 171 County Park Rd, in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania United States was born on April 17, 1896 at Calumet Pennsylvania, in Hungary, and died at age 82 years old on May 22, 1978 at VA Butler Healthcare 353 N Duffy Rd, in Butler, Butler County.
Was a fun loving Dad who loved to make jokes and laugh a lot. He was a good provider and we didn’t lack for anything, moving to Ca when Susan was 3 yrs was told I wasn’t thriving by the Doctor, get her out of the cold. We took a trip to Ca to see my mom’s sister in Hawthorne, Ca and liked the weather. Dad took us home and we sold our house and packed up a U-Haul and drove to Ca. Staying with my mom’s sister Mary Alice and family they had moved to a new housing tract in Garden Grove Ca. We stayed with them, my Dad gettting a job with my Uncle Ken at North American Aviation building the 3rd stage of all the Apollo Rockets to the moon and then the first 2 Space Shuttles making the fire proof outside tiles of the shuttle. Then while Dad enjoyed work we found a house right across the street from my Aunt and bought it. We lived there our whole lives till my Dad passed in 1990.

Edward was baptized in 1926 at St Luke’s Catholic Church. Edward Zeaken died at age 64 years old on August 22, 1990 at Los Alamitos Hospital Katella Ave, in Los Alamitos, Orange County, CA, and was buried circa August 27, 1990 at Riverside National Veterans Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, in Riverside.
