2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
Eternal optimist hidden under a jaded skin. Community was very important to him. He had started the Arizona Council on Rural Disabilities program in District 4 for Arizona's rural communities of Mojave County. He loved working with the underdogs and gave a dignity to those who at the time otherwise were written off. He inspired hope into people even when he was shaky in his own worth. He never had much and was prone to get rich quick schemes that normally backfired. He was extremely booksmart and hands on dumb. A master of missing the obvious and catching the intricate. Not a day went by that he'd miss a sunrise or a sunset. Would always stand outside or look out a window and was always awestruck at the marvels that God had made. Much of his life was bittersweet and it also ended the same. His son loved him very much.

Extremely OCD would wash his hands 3-4 times every time. Started a lumber mill on the Fox river in competition to Elamar's lumber yard. Very caring and hard working, loved his family. He ended up starting a metal working factory that James Dost took over. Avid outdoorsman. Died peacefully in his sleep from axphexiation due to a tumor in his throat that had cut off air.
