Dr Victor V Wiesner III
Dr Wiesner was a fervent researcher who utilized advanced statistics and research methods to complete and publish numerous research studies. His academic career began as a junior in high school when he was selected to receive a national science foundation scholarship to study advanced number theory at the John von Neumann seminar at SMU university in Dallas. He was an award winning football player in high school (Traywick Award, 1977 & 1979) in the Houston area setting records for most touchdowns scored on offense (1977, 1978, & 1979) while simultaneously recording the most interceptions on defense (1978). Before walking on to play football under coach Tom Wilson his freshman year at Texas A&M (College Station) he decided to put all his efforts on academics majoring in Physics earning a College of Science honor award (1979 & 1980). In 1981 he was awarded the Dr Paul Dirac award for his paper on elementary String Theory.
