Dessie Maudene (Denney) Deane of Amarillo, Texas United States was born on December 21, 1934 at 2802 Arhtur Street, in Amarillo. Dessie Deane was married to James Elliott Deane on August 15, 1952 in Amarillo, Potter County, and died at age 88 years old on September 13, 2023 in Lubbock, Lubbock County.
She was a very precious mother. She taught children -- many, many children. Her legacy lives on. She developed a reading method that continues to be used to teach children to read. Her Godly legacy lives on in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is greatly missed.

James Deane married Dessie Maudene Denney Deane on August 15, 1952 in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas United States, and died at age 65 years old on June 2, 1996 in Tennessee United States.
