Tyler McShane was the youngest of 8 siblings, his first wife was Zelma Lucile Cobern, and that marriage begat a son, Luther James Kicker. While married to Zelma, Tyler married Alma E. Blackburn, and that marriage begat a daughter, Mildred Ruth Kicker. His actions had a ripple effect on both Luther and Ruth and the two siblings never met although Ruth did reach out to Luther after Zelma died but my father made the error of not agreeing to me. Tyler was the black sheep of his family and he really never established a good relationship with any of his three grandchildren by his son. I have no idea if Ruth reached out to her father other children ever met Tyler. Alma was murdered when Ruth was 4 and she was raised by her father and took her Mother's surname.
