Julia Hoppus was my Grandmother. Every Christmas Eve, her home was the one place I saw my extended family. Grandma made her homage tarts , cookies, etc. We’d have a gift-exchange, There were so many of us. She always had love for me. I tried asking her about my Father-‘to no avail. On her last day on earth, I ran to the side of her hospital bed, said “Hi Grandma”, she said “Hi” back”. I thought she’d get better…

Julia (Amunson) Hoppus of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin was born on July 3, 1899 in Minnesota United States, and died at age 81 years old on January 27, 1981 in Waukesha County, WI. Julia Hoppus was buried at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
