Darby William Mee of Colac, Colac Otway Shire County, VIC Australia was born on January 27, 1895 in Nhill, Hindmarsh Shire County to John David Austin Mee and Agnes Jane Magdalene Pannowitz Mee. He had siblings John Michael Mee, Ellen Harriett (Mee) Hickey, Margaret Jane (Mee) Gorman, George David Austin Mee, and Agnes Mary Mee. He married Margaret Mary Smith in 1919, and had children William Patrick John Mee, Alphonsus George Mee, and Ernest Gregory James Mee. Darby Mee died at age 65 years old on August 19, 1960 in Colac, Colac Otway Shire County. Darby's correct death date was 17 June 1960.
UPDATE: Wedding to Margaret Mary (aka Mal) Smith was 14 June 1919. They had 7 children, 1 girl name unknown, died in infancy & 6 boys. As well as Patrick John Mee, Alphonsus George Mee, and Ernest Gregory James Mee there was. Anthony Michael (Tony) Mee, Lawrence Noel (Noel) Mee and my father Phillip Desmond (Phil) Mee. All are deceased.
