Katherine "Kate" Rees Stotsbury was born to John Rees (B.1838 Wales d.1899 Pittsburgh,Allegheny County, PA) and Ann Griffiths Rees (b. 1841 Wales died 1918 and buried in Pittsburgh PA). She is one of 8 children. She was born Aug 1873 Va and died near Seattle, Washington, USA.

I don't know what her husband John F. Stotsbury did for a living or much about this family. She is my gr gr aunt.

My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
