Died 01 Oct 1918 First recorded flight 22 Sept (35 mins solo, 50 mins dual) 26 Sept - 60 mins showing Corps area, 100 mins with Sheehan 28 Sept - 2 flights each of 2hr 30 mins with Sheehan 29 Sept - 2 flights 2hr 40 mins and 2hr 30 Sept - new machine 17.30hr - 18.00hr 01 Oct - new machine 09.00hr - 09.30hr

My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
