Unknown User Angievine Andrews Bussell d/o Churchill Andrws and Abagail Johnson left Holly Springs, Ms. with her 3 year old son Samuel, and pregnant with twins, and her mother Abagail Johnson Andrews & probably her father Churchill Andrews. The Confederate Calvary under Van Dorn attacked a Yankee munitions depot there. They went to Shreveport, La. to Angievine's sister married to a Jordan. From there, it is thought her father died on this flight, she and her mother fled to Nibblett's Bluff, La. where her twin sons, Rufus Otto and Wm. Blount Bussell were born. Niblett's Bluff was the center for the Civil War blockade runners; her husband, Thomas Houston Bussell, was one and died either during the Red River Campaign or the Vicksburg Siege. Her twin sons were named for her two brothers who died at Shiloh along with a 1st cousin and uncle. She and her mother went to Hardin & Tyler Co., Texas where Angievine's brother, Samuel, was in Hood's Brigade. She died in 1904 and is buried at Warren, Texas. She remarried Harmon Perryman. One twin son, Rufus Otto Bussell died in 1916; the other son, Wm. Blount Busselle died in 1956. She had such a tragic life.

Jandri Jansen Van Rensburg I was told that on the border of Irland and Scotland lived an Andrews family. They Apparently were owners of a whiskey destillery. I heard that my great great grandfather married a canadian lady which where not allowed. He was then band from the family and all inheritance.
The couple moved to Canada and then to South - Africa (or their children). Where my grandfathers wed a africaans lady (I think she is a nee Duvenhage). Thats all I realy know. If you know same pieces that can add to my history please let me know. Thanks a mill.
