Clifton Siblings
These are the Clifton siblings; l-r Julie, Addie, Maggie, Frank & Robert. Julie m. to a Spradlin and lived in Floyd Co., KY. Addie b.1880 m. Grant Burke and lived in Johnson Co., KY. Maggie moved with her husband to Miamesburg, OH. Frank & Robert moved to New York and were home on a visit when this photo was taken. Not sure which boy is which. One of them was known to later move to California. The Clifton genealogy is as follows: JOHN CLIFTON b.c1765 m. NANCY JONES ...and their son...MARTIN JONES CLIFTON b.1810 VA m. SUSANNAH BARRETT...and their son...JOHN MILTON CLIFTON b.1828 VA m. ADALINE A. COCHRAN...and their son...JOHN MILTON CLIFTON JR. b.1855 VA m. MARY E. "POLLY" HOBSON...and their children...the Clifton siblings shown. A picture of John Clifton b.c1765 and Martin Jones Clifton are available.
