Wonderful photo- looks like the Victorian Era. It may have been taken after a funeral if her dress is all black.

Beautiful castle- thank you for sharing. My maternal relatives were from Ireland too. I have been to Ireland and it felt like I was home. :-)

So tragic for a family to endure. My cousin married Ed Barry from Chicago and raised their family near there. I know they went back to Ireland to visit their Barry relatives.

He married Myrtle Nelson and they lived in Chicago, IL before moving to California.
