Bud also had an interest in the Pitt family genealogy & this writer has seen a letter written by him in the 1940s indicating that a serious work should be done in compiling the work before the number of descendants got way too large in number to keep track of.
Bud was honored & held in high regard by many and,
as far as this writer was concerned, his nephew, Peter Bulkeley Leake, had many of the same traits as Bud.
