Charlotte Eleanor (Harris) Barrow was born in 1847 in Preston, Lancashire County, England United Kingdom to William Gilbert Harris and Anne Lucinda (Varian) Harris, and had a sister Catherine Jane (Harris) Devenport. She married Richard John Barrow on September 22, 1875, and they were married until death separated them. She had children John Varian Barrow, Lucy Emma Barrow, Lionel Richard Barrow, Eveline Crystal (Barrow) Brabin, Stella Broughton (Barrow) Thomas, and Dulcie Eleanor (Barrow) Brabin. Charlotte Barrow died at age 79 years old on November 21, 1927 at - Darlinghurst, in Sydney, NSW Australia, and was buried at Junee Cemetery Gundagai Rd, in Junee, Junee Shire Council County.

    Born in Lancashire, England, to William Gilbert Harris, Charlotte Eleanor (Harris) Barrow moved with her family to South Australia to the age of two years. Charlott Harris married Richard Barrow: The Evening Journal. Adelaide. 30th September 1875. - MARRIAGES. BARROW - HARRIS. On the 22nd September, at the residence of the bridegroom's father, by the Rev. W. H. Pollard, Richard, second son of Mr. John Barrow, of Ashwell, to Charlotte Eleanor, second daughter of the late Mr. W. G. Harris, H. M. C. S. They had two sons and four daughters, and Richard predeceased Charlotte by nine years.

    The Cootamundra Herald. NSW. 28th November 1927. The death occurred on Monday, at Claremore private hospital, Sydney, of Mrs. Charlotte Eleanor Barrow, 72, one of the oldest pioneers of Junee district. Mrs. Barrow was born in Lancashire, England, and came to South Australia at the age of 2 years. She afterwards married the late Richard Barrow, who pre-deceased her nine years ago. Her early life was spent in South Australia, where her husband persued pastoral pursuits. Twenty years ago she came to Junee, and only left the district recently. She leaves behind the following grown-up children:- Mrs. T. J. Brabin and Mrs. George Brabin, Junee; Mrs. W. J. Thomas, Wantabadgery; Miss L. E. Barrow, Adelaide; Mr. J. V. Barrow, Undercliffe, and Mr. J. L. Barrow, Ramsgate.
