Chester “Chet” Victor Macioroski was born December 23, 1917 at Chicago IL, the son of Alexander and Alice Szcezesny Macioroski. He attended school at Valley View School on Bad Route north of Terry MT.
He was in the National Youth Corps in 1936. He also worked for the WPA and helped build the Cherry Creek bridge. In 1941 he enlisted in the Army and after his discharge in 1945, returned to the family farm where he farmed until the time of his death. Mr Macioroski raised registered Hereford cattle all his life. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church of Terry, Farmers Union, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Circle, the American Legion in Terry and the Hereford Association.
Mr Macioroski , 72, died of heart failure June 6, 1990 at his home 30 miles north of Terry. He is survived by three brothers, Tony, Tom and Stan, all of Terry; two half-brothers, Albert of Melrose and Elmer of Sheridan; three sisters, Alice Gothard, Josie Macioroski and Barbara Macioroski, all of Terry; a half-sister, Alma Mothershead of Big Timer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
