He had siblings Wallace Dubber, Alfred Dubber, Jessie Esther Dubber, Louisa Parker Dubber, Ethel (Dubber) Davies, Frederick John Dubber, Lydia (Dubber) Ennor, Emily Victoria (Dubber) Hay, and Sarah Clara (Dubber) Prince. He married Agnes Turner Dubber, and had a child Alfred Samuel Dubber. Joseph Dubber died at age 79 years old in 1950 in Coburg.
