  • Introduction

    Martha "Patsey" Going (variants), the daughter of Aggy and Moses Sr, is believed to have married Caswell NC 3 Dec 1790 to Patrick Mason. The couple had a number of children and lived in Caswell NC, then Person NC; nonetheless Patsey appears to have left NC with the two youngest children and migrated to GA with other Going family members where she was required to register, along with her children, in 1819 as FPC at Columbia GA. By 1828 Patrick, who remained in Person NC, had remarried.
