Teena E. (Holder) Zarzar Feb 13, 1957 - May 30, 2004 Houston, Texas

Teena Elaine Holder was born to Woodrow T. Holder (1923-2011) and Mary Lou Evans (1927-1981) in Kaufman Texas, and had a brother Richard Evan (1947-2001) and a sister Janice Leanne (Holder) Watson (1950-1989). She married David Glenn Golightly (1955-1995) on December 29th 1975 in Harris Texas and they had a daughter together. They divorced two years later on August 29th 1977. She married Yemil Zarzar on February 14th 1983 in Harris Texas. On her tombstone it reads Teena's quote: "I know that giving is our reason to keep living and living is the means by which we give."

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth. So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her. For more information about what we're building see About AncientFaces. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
