My ancestors belonged to that church, along with their large extended families. I have records of them from St. Peter's back into the mid 1800s, if my memory is correct. What a cool picture!

My grandmother and other ancestors were from Clinton County. I have very little information on them. All I have are a few names any info would help.Minnie Currier, Her husband John Bennett and further back Joseph & Josephine Elliot. Thanks.
"Boissy and Brault" built the school, E'Cole de St. Pierre and the addition and remodel of St. Peter's Church. Following the death of Boissy; Fred Brault partnered with Lamarche to form, "Lamarche and Brault." They were responsible for the redecorating of the church which included the addition of the stain glass windows and all of the oil paintings.
The parade was in celebration of the school being finished.
Am trying to put together the Goodbread family of New York. Any information you can share would be appreciated.

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth. So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her. For more information about what we're building see About AncientFaces. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
