Edith Mary Mayhorn Palmer
I have an old postcard photograph of Edith Mary MAYHORN taken at the Flag Studio in Pasadena, CA. Edith is identified as 2 months and 10 days home at the time the photograph was taken. The photograph was a gift "To Aunt Dora" and was likely taken some time between 1907 and 1917. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Edith and her family:

Edith Mary MAYHORN was b. 25 Aug 1911 in Pasadena, CA to parents Albert Wilbert MAYHORN (1873-1956) and Edith May GARRISON (1883-1969) who were married 9 Nov 1910 in Riverside, CA. Edith was one of 7 children born to this couple including Lorin Baker; Edith Mary; Mabel Emma; Harry Justus; Jack Hoover; Robert Eugene; and Grace Jean MAYHORN, all born between 1908 and 1924. Her father was married previously and had another child, a son Albert William MAYHORN Jr. (1892-1971).

Edith married Clarence A. PALMER (1909-2001) on 14 Oct 1933 in Alameda, CA and they had two sons, John or Jon Douglas PALMER (b. 1938) and Richard Lee PALMER (1944-2022). Edith died 15 Oct 1993 in Concord, CA.

I am hoping to get this photograph to Edith’s family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
