Lt. Werner Heinrich Oskar Dittmann (* July 22, 1896 in Köslin/Western Pomerania, today Koszalin/Poland, + August 20, 1975 in Bonn) was a fighter pilot with Jasta 1 and Jasta 13 on the Western and Alpine fronts in World War I and survived the war.
Werner Heinrich Oskar Dittmann Ltn. of Blücherstr. 18-20, in Bonn, NRW Deutschland was born on July 22, 1896 in Koszalin, Woiwodschaft Westpommern Polen to Gerhard Peter Heinrich Dittmann and Emma Therese Helene Erdmine (Pfaelzer). He had a brother Gerhard Karl Ernst Dittmann. He married Edda Dittmann on September 12, 1922, and had children Kurt-Werner Dittmann and Jürgen Dittmann. Werner Dittmann died at age 79 years old on August 20, 1975 in Bonn, NRW Deutschland, and was buried in August 1975 at Poppelsdorfer Friedhof Stationsweg 25, in Bonn, Köln County.
