Frederick E. Sundstad
Frederick E. Sundstad, son of Mrs. Clara Sundstad, Perley, Minn, wounded Feb. 20 in France. In a letter to his mother he writes he was wounded by shrapnel piercing his upper arm and he is hospitalized in France. He entered service April 13, 1943 trained at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., with the ASTP at Wyoming University and at Camp Adair, Ore. He went overseas last December. Two brothers are in service, Sft. Otto with the army in France, and ROlf, watertender, 1st class, at Norfolk, VA. Another borther, Lt Herman, was killed June 5th in Burma.
