Hazel Ruth Bartlett Brand
I have an old postcard photograph of Hazel Ruth BARTLETT which was taken 31 Oct 1914 when Hazel was just 1 year, 3 months, and 9 days old. The photograph was taken at the Chapman Studio in Stanton, MI and given to “Aunt Ola and Uncle George” as a gift. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Hazel and her family:

Hazel Ruth BARTLETT was b. 22 Jul 1913 in Borlin Township, Ionia Co., MI to parents Raymond “Ray” Arthur BARTLETT (1891-1961 or 1893-1974) and Rose Elizabeth CHAPMAN or WALTON (1894-1975 or 1893-1980) who were married 25 Jul 1912 in Stanton, MI. Hazel was one of four children born to this couple including Hazel Ruth; Leo H.; Forrest Edwin; and Lena E. BARTLETT, all born between 1913 and 1922. Hazel married Harold Henry BRAND (1909-1966) on 28 Apr 1934 in Stanton, MI and they had a daughter. Hazel died 5 May 1996 in Sheridan, MI and is buried in the Evergreen Township Cemetery in that town.

I am hoping to locate someone from Hazel’s family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.

Thanks,
Shelley
Date & Place: at Chapman Studio in Stanton, Montcalm County, Michigan 48888, United States
