The Benning house on Snyder Avenue in Bremerton WA. The original owner who built the house sold it to George to pay for his son's college expenses.

Photo found in an antique store in Santa Cruz,California. Not my relative, but photo was re-united with Mamie's great-neice, C. Kimber, back in Mamie's childhood home in Utah. Back of photo states, "Mamie Woodruff, daughter of Marion and Bertha Jensen Woodruff". Located this family in the 1910 US Census in Elwood, Box Elder, Utah... living in household at that time: Marion (father) 48, Bertha (mother) 41, Earl W., 19, Myrtle S., 17, Mayme H., 15, Vernon J., 12, Rora A., 10, Iona N., 7, Leland O., 2, Elmer D. 5 months, & Mary F. Steffensen, 68. Mamie died March 13, 1979 in Le Grande, Union Co., Oregon.

Howard John Ruge is standing second from left as you are looking at the photo. My dad was stationed in the South Pacific during WWII repairing plane radios. In this photo he his stationed at New Guinea.

A photo of the Gavin Ranch in Orofino, Idaho. Photo rescued from antique store in Seaside, Oregon on January 24, 2015. Back says "Mr.and Mrs. Gavin, on our ranch, Orofino, Idaho." Might be Henry and Azalia Gavin - contacting family on Ancestry.com to see if this is one of their relatives.

Searched and found family of CANADIAN Captain Robert "Bob' J. Grant - who gave his life at age 27 at Falaise Gap in France in 1944. We are constructing a webpage in his honour.
His son is Bob Grant and would be in his sixties now. His wife is Frances Elizabeth Grant. They lived in British Columbia (Vancouver) CANADA when he was killed in action. This year we will visit his grave in France.

Here is a photo of my Great Grandy William John Cooper Carr Masson and he was a guard at the Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. He was privileged to be raised at the castle because of his grandfather John H. Cooper's service in the British Royal Army. He was the son of Alexander Carr Masson and Emmeline Jane (Cooper).
